You can try it out on your computer at home. Just download the TVSystemManager.exe file into an new folder and then run it.

The player and capture apps are available with their VB 6 source code. These apps are available for non-commercial use in a private residence for the entertainment of the guests and residents. Using the source code to create new apps is encouraged provided those apps are backwardly compatible. Those new apps need not provide source code nor are there any restriction on the licensing fee.

Intelligent Scheduling:
I love this feature.
It's quite simple really. The computer just adds a season pass for new series in the genres I selected.
On my system any new series in one of these genres gets a season pass with these priorities.
If I don't like one of the new series I just push the blue button on the remote and remove the season pass.
There's no rocket science here... and no fiddling about, searching and other things the computer should be doing for you

This is the 'At a Glance' information feature. It's possible for six 'At a Glance' information icons to be visible.
  • Red, recording now
  • Gray, it's scheduled to be recorded at a different time or on a different channel.
  • Red and Gray, it's scheduled to be recorded in this time slot on this channel.
  • Orange, this program has been watched.
  • White, this program is available for viewing
  • Yellow, this program may be expired at any time
  • Green, this program will be saved until manually expired
  • Blue, this is an automatically scheduled title
  • Violet, this program is shown in high definition.

  • Not all the recording systems are on the same computer.
  • The cross represents the system used for the focused operation.

  • Clicking the ball will add the title to the list of automatically scheduled titles. (season pass)
  • Clicking the cross will remove the title to the list of automatically scheduled titles.
  • Right clicking the cross will bring up an option menu.
